Surface NEEDS within the community
Propose a need so that your voice can be heard within the community. Once you submit a proposal, we will create a voting page and email you a link that can be shared with friends to start a discussion. On the following Saturday, we will include a link to the page in the weekly campaign email to put it up for a community vote. Polls will remain open for a week, allowing community members to:
1. Learn it 2. Discuss it 3. Endorse it 4. Share it |
Propose PRINCIPLES to guide community operations
We encourage you to propose new principles or sub-principles so that community members might better understand certain aspects of a principle. Propose SUB-COMMUNITIES that meet our NEEDS and adhere to our governing PRINCIPLES to receive seed funding
Propose a sub-community that provides a solution to the biggest needs in the community. Once you submit a proposal, we will create a voting page and email you a link that can be shared with friends to start a discussion. Every community member should play a role in proposing and voting on principles, needs, and communities. Being an active participant is the only way that you can guarantee representation in this new operating system. The more you participate, the more you will be represented.
It may turn out that a proposed principle ends up being a sub-principle of an existing principle, just as a proposed need may actually be a sub-need of an existing need. That's exactly what we want. We will go through a process of aligning them correctly via discussion. This is a critical part of the process of breaking things down into smaller pieces that can be managed and implemented within our community.
